Joschua is originally from Germany where he did all his schooling. Soon after finishing school, Joschua founded a non-profit with 3 other people where his responsibility was IT infrastructure and online presence. Joschua was instrumental in building this from a startup to a sustainable business over 4 years.
During this period, Joschua met his future partner from Australia. This led to the lifechanginng decision to move to Australia permantly and pursue his passion in coding and development. In fact, in his personal time, Joschua has built quite a few different Apps that he sells on the Apple Store.
Joschua's first permanent role in Australia was as a Full Stack Developer at PixelPixel. After working here for nearly 3 years, he felt it was time for a change and saw our job advertisement for a Senior Developer to help lead our peoduct developement strategy. So in September 2025, Joschua joined us and has become a critical part of the team.
Joshua's role is to manage the Development Team and oversee the development of the suite of Smartyr Tools to help our clients better manage their digital marketing. This includes the SmartyrDXP, SmartyrDashboards, SmartyrCRM, SmartyrInbox and more.
