Is Google Penalising Your Mobile Site?
Google is currently emailing Webmasters of websites that have failed their mobile friendly test. In their email they warn your website pages "will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users".
Your website isn't mobile friendly - what should you do?
The simple answer is to get a new website that is mobile friendly. In most cases this is just a matter of contacting the business who did your current website and ask them about making it mobile friendly.

There are several different ways you can go about getting a mobile friendly website. The traditional method has been to create a second website that has been designed for mobile phones. However, with the development of web technology, the best method now is what we call a "Responsive Website". This is essentially a website that will respond in layout to whatever the size screen it is being viewed on. This is the type of mobile website that Google recommends.
